Day 1 Private transfer from Bali to Java
Start by picking you up from the Bali area in the evening around 7 PM Bali Time, the time pick up will depend on your location in Bali. We can pick you up from Denpasar, Ubud, Pemuteran, and other favorite places in Bali. Crossing the ferry for about 45 minutes, then directly drive to Banyuwangi, stopover at a local hospital to do a medical check-up to get a Health Certificate as a requirement to be able to hike Kawah Ijen. Drive to the Paltuding base to start your Kawah Ijen Midnight Hike for 1 hour.
Day 2 Kawah Ijen Midnight Hike
Arriving at Paltuding at around 02.00 AM, have a short rest for preparing the hike while we do the registration. Start your hike through the steep track in the dark under the moonlight and stars. Arrive at the crater top we need to descend the crater for about 30 minutes. Beware of the narrow rocky track, please use your good shoes with proper grip to make the walk easier. See the blue fire phenomenon at the crater lake bottom and see how sulfur mining is processed.
After seeing the blue fire, we take you to hike back to the top of the crater to get to the panoramic viewpoint. Here you can see the whole landscape of Kawah Ijen from the top, and enjoy the spectacular view of the green acid lake. This become the best place to take a selfie photo and make a short video for your Instagram feed. Fly a drone from here is also a good idea to capture the whole landscape of the area.
Meet the strongest men on earth who can carry almost 100 Kg of sulfur rocks on their shoulders only using a handmade bamboo basket. Be more respectful to them as they are not just a tourist attraction by simply saying hello when you meet them, sharing a path with them, or maybe you can buy a souvenir they made for small money.
Breakfast - Drive to Cemara Lawang
Have breakfast at a local restaurant in Paltuding then directly drive to Cemara Lawang for about 4-5 hours. Check in to the hotel in Cemara Lawang, and see sunset at Seruni View Point if we arrive at Cemara Lawang before 05.00 PM.

As our default on the package, you will stay in a Parama Hotel & Cafe standard room for a couple of travelers and a family room for a group of 4 persons or more. There is no activity for the evening, take a dinner and go to bed as early as possible tomorrow for another morning call again.
Day 3 Bromo sunrise and crater hike
Get picked up from your hotel at the Cemara Lawang area at 03.00 AM, and drive for 1 hour to go to Penanjakan View Point. The jeep driver will drop you off right at the parking area, you just need to walk a few meters to find a good spot to see the sunrise. Going for the sunrise at the high season or public holiday will be quite challenging as the traffic can be worse even stuck for a few meters. Leaving earlier from the hotel earlier would be helpful to avoid the crowd.

Sunrise at Penanjakan & King Kong Hill View Point
Enough enjoying the sunrise from Penanjakan, the jeep driver will take you to another viewpoint called King Kong Hill. It's located only a few minutes drive from Penanjakan View Point, King Kong Hill offers a landscape of the whole of Mount Bromo from different angles which is stunning.
Penanjakan View Point is the best place to see the sunrise but it could be too crowded, you can go to King Kong Hill for the sunrise unless you go to Penanjakan to escape from the crowd. Confirm with your Jeep driver when he picks you up from the hotel if you prefer to see the sunrise from King Kong Hill.

Bromo Crater Hike and drive back to the hotel
The last stop is the Bromo Crater area, the driver will drive you to the Bromo Crater area. Noted that he will drop you off right at the parking area, so you need to walk through the sandy area which is mostly called The Whispering Sand, and hike hundreds of steps to reach the top of the crater. The crater was just a hollow that locals believe is the place where the mountain god lives and they do offer to wish everything will be fine along the year. For visitors, you can see the whole area landscape of the Bromo area. Horse riding is available for additional cost, it is not included in the package. We advise you not to do horse riding as it is too risky if you fall from the horseback and injure your legs.

Arriving at the hotel, our driver will be waiting for you to have a shower and breakfast then he will drop you off at Ketapang Ferry Port. See you next time...!
After the tour, we can drop you off at Probolinggo Train Station if you want to take a direct train to Yogyakarta. Other options is drop you off to Surabaya/Malang or back to Bali.
