Most people just directly cross to Bali straight after hiking Kawah Ijen, take a ferry then go by public bus to Bali. It is the cheapest option to get to Bali by yourself, but traveling by bus could be stressful sometimes, the bus stops almost everywhere on the street to pick up passengers it takes a longer time to arrive at the destination. There is no fixed time schedule for the bus, sometimes you need to wait for the bus available.
